The statistics claim over 10,000 crores rupees of export during 2001-2002. Amongst the big names, ‘Lijat’ papad has a turnover of more than 320 crores rupees. ‘Pathak’s’ in U.K. sells well over 500 rupees crores worth of chutneys and pickles, whereas, ‘Pravin’, ‘Nilons’ & ‘Priya’ have a turnover of more than 20 crores rupees by supplying pickles. Our factory is situated 20 km from Vadodara City on the State Highway. It is easily accessible from Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Saurashtra region. Furthermore, the workers stream in from the nearest village that is 1 km away and Padra town that is at a distance of 5 km. A population of around 50,000 people can access our factory for work purposes. They use transportation services like three, four and six wheeler tempos in order to reach the factory.
